Diagnostic Testing

At Midwest Integrated, we specialize in providing not only the best in physical medicine and natural pain management, but we also realize the importance of the analysis and diagnosis of your pain and injuries. We focus on providing the best of both traditional medical testing with cutting edge nerve studies and blood analysis of your condition. We use some of the most advanced tests in medicine today.

We offer the following types of diagnostic tests:

X-Rays: We use the lowest amount of radiation with our diagnostic x-rays. These images are used to assess issues such as joint degeneration, scoliosis, leg length inequalities, or fractures, to the spine and extremities.

Electromyography (EMG Testing): With electromyography testing, we are able to determine if there is any dysfunction or irregular activity in the function of the muscles themselves. This test allows a more accurate diagnosis of muscle injury and impairment.

NCV Testing (Nerve Conduction Velocity Studies): NCV tests allows our team to diagnosis if/where in the body there is dysfunction or damage to a nerve. This the hallmark test for sciatica pain treatment. This test gives us a better understanding of the cause of peripheral neuropathy and allows for more precise treatment.

Allergy and Immune Response Testing: We employ the latest in blood testing techniques to determine if there are any allergy or immune responses to particular foods or substances.

Vascular Screenings: One of the most important tests is our screening for vascular damage and atherosclerosis.  Atherosclerosis is one of the main causes of stroke and heart attacks, and early evaluation is the key to treating these conditions. We employ a painless and simple method to extract fast and accurate results.

Functional and Performance testing: We conduct a series of functional tests, range of motion measurements, and strength measurements to fully assess the extent of an injury. These results allow us to develop an appropriate plan of care and help us to objectively measure results.

Hormone and Adrenal Testing: We use saliva testing to assess both hormone and adrenal function. Chronic stress and altered hormone levels can cause a number of health conditions in the body. These tests give us a better understanding of how to treat chronic fatigue or hormone imbalances.
